UX case study: Amica - Employee experience platform
Brief:

ABC leadership put together the following parameters for the platform:
1. The platform will have a primarily digital interface but will be supported with on ground initiatives as well.
2. The CEO is strictly opposed to making the new platform mandatory for all employees to use. She would like us to think broader about how we could encourage employees to self-discover and make the most of the platform for themselves.
To kick this off, PwC conducted a brief research exercise with ABC employees, and of the many insights that emerged the following were the most crucial:
● Employees equate their growth in the company to continuous learning. There is great demand for curated & personalized learning experiences.
● Employees value frequent and public recognition for their achievements. They wish to be rewarded for big and small wins.
● Employees identify “care” as being connected with their co-workers. A hybrid working model has reduced interpersonal connections. They need more opportunities to bond with people around them.
While growth, learning, recognition and rewards keep employees motivated, the key to inspiring a workforce is Esprit de corps – functioning as a harmonious community.
